Originally performed for Breakfast at Tiffany's in 1961 by Audrey Hepburn, Moon River earned an academy award for Best Original Song, and was later popularized by Andy Williams, who used it as the theme song for his TV variety show which ran from 1962-1967. To this day, Moon River remains a classic gem. It's one of my favorite pieces to perform on this instrument. In this arrangement, the jazz middle section is heavily inspired by Beegie Adair's rendition of the song.
